If all things were equal, Liverpool winning is more tolerable, as living in London most of us can dismiss plastic scousers and tell them that as such they don't have an opinion.

Because of their 80’s success Liverpool are the original glory hunters team followed by Man U in the 90’s.
This was also the start of more regular tv coverage of live games.
Even in the UK before then people tended generally to support their local teams.
Of course these days people are force fed the constantly winning ‘big teams’.
You NEVER saw a Man City shirt in London a decade ago.

I don't think most are undecided on who they wanted to win. Not sure what that has to do with the club taking the piss.
Though having lived in Oz for 13 years surrounded by the most plastic football fans anywhere the Aussie scouser, I'm fucking glad I'm not there now.

Whatever they say on a tweet does not compare to the illegal hacking of our board's and the Olympic legacy's group's accounts or intercepting players coming to sign for us with higher offers, or even trying to move into our area.
Never hated tottenham that much but now I detest the fucking scummy cunts. They still have not won a trophy for years, and have choked once again. Long may it continue.

It doesn't mention Tottenham at all. The club should state that they were simply congratulating a winning British club and would have done the same had Tottenham won.

Darby Millwall COMPETE in the FA Cup another reason OUR club should put up or shut up with this kind of shit and leave it to the support who actually have to put up with these cunts telling us we’re shit. WE have the reason to take the piss the club doesn’t back us up on this factor to do the same apart from the odd victory over them when they are COMPETING for the honours.

I don’t understand what people are reacting about. If Wall had posted something like this when we lost the FA Cup final, no one would think it ‘lacked class.’ They’d just think it was all part of the rivalry.
Some old dinosaur will come on and tell us that the rivalries with Spurs and Wall aren’t the same, but I don’t think that really matters. They’re both rivalries, even if the Spurs rivalry is too new for some oldtimers’ liking.
